Mister Tourism World Philippines Kevin Hernandez for Lionell Christian Lanuzo

Mister Tourism World Philippines 2018 Kevin Hernandez stayed away from the limelight after the February 2019 Mister Tourism World competition but we can’t help but post this photo of him wearing his National Costume designed by Lionell Christian Lanuzo earlier this week.

Kevin is continuing his studies in Italy and at the same time does part-time modelling stints. He finished 2 pageants in 2 years – as Mister Model International Philippines 2018 and Mister Tourism World Philippines 2018 both under the Gentlemen Charities Incorporated (Gentlemen of the Philippines).

Aya Abesamis: Biggest Leap as 1st Runner Up

It took me a while to actually follow up my writings about the recent Bb. Pilipinas Grand Coronation Night and this one is for Aya Abesamis who finished as 1st Runner Up at the end of the competition.

It was the biggest leap from all the returning hopefuls and we believe Aya is happy with her placement – although it won’t have an international competition, being a Binibini queen would help her launch her advocacies and she would go through the same training as the reigning queens would do.

Again, congratulations to Aya (and isn’t Christi Lynn McGarry looking so fab post her Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 stint?)

Samantha Bernardo: 2nd Runner Up once more

Your blogger has failed to watch the entire Bb. Pilipinas 2019 contest proper but upon learning what placement Samantha Bernardo ended up with as 2nd Runner Up for 2019, I became one with all those who supported this Palawena who hoped to get a crown after serving as a dutiful runner up last year.

What went wrong with her? I really don’t have the opportunity to put it into words, now here is a clip of the Bb. Pilipinas 2019 Q&A round for you to see it yourself:

Now will she end it here or give it one last chance come 2020? Only time would tell, but still our heartfelt greetings to Sam for another good finish. Congratulations!

How will they place tonight: Vickie Rushton and Samantha Bernardo

How will they place tonight?

Vickie and Samantha took a leap of faith leaving their existing Bb. Pilipinas contracts as runners-up to join this year’s competition. Some say Vickie is almost locked in as Bb. Pilipinas International while Samantha has her chances with the Miss Universe Philippines title, still, only their performances later will tell how will they place later.

Nevertheless, congratulations girls!
