Another queen is scheduled to leave soon as Miss Global Philippines Mary Ann Mungcal would compete in the Miss Global Pageant to be held on Cambodia by November 18, 2017.

Mary Ann is the 4th Philippine representative to compete in the Miss Global Pageant where Philippines had been placing for the last 3 years. Pretty sure that the franchise of Miss Global Philippines lead by its President Pauline Sofia Laping got everything covered.

MANILA – 25 year old Yves Campos who represented the Filipino Community of Hawaii was crowned as Mister Supranational Philippines 2017 and succeeds AR Dela Serna to represent the Philippines at the Mister Supranational Pageant. An early front runner, apart from winning the crown, Yves also bagged Mr. Cocoline Naturals  during the finals night of Misters of Filipinas 2017 held last September 30 at the One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Yves, a nurse by profession in Hawaii has left the country last October 8 after doing a series of guestings with his fellow PEPPS kings  to continue working while preparing for his international pageant. Amongst the 6 kings, he goes first into competition with Mister Supranational’s Finals Night slated on December 2 (3 in the Philippines) in Poland.

Yves and the author of The Pageant Hub (yours truly)

PH: Hi Yves! I’d like to invite you for another round of blog posting in lieu of the upcoming Mister Supranational Congratulations on being Mister Supranational Philippines 2017.

PH: What was the first thing you did right after winning Mister Supranational Philippines 2017 last September 30 and has life changed since then?
YC: “OMG?! Is this real?!”, those are the first few words that I uttered when I won. I just did not expect to win Mister Supranational Philippines. A lot of my close friends would tell me “Yves, Mister Supranational really fits your bubbly personality”. I did not take those comments seriously that’s why when I was announced as ” Mr. Supranational Philippines” , I was in complete shock. My life has totally changed after I won in terms of balancing my time between my career as a nurse and preparing for the international pageant. To be honest, I was extremely worried when I won the national title considering the fact that the pageant is in December and I barely have time to train. However, I am an optimistic person and I’m doing everything to increase my chances in winning Mr. Supranational. I want to become the first Asian to win Mister Supranational.
PH: What was the most memorable moment of the Misters of Filipinas competition and who were your closest friends?
YC: Everyday was surreal. It exceeded my expectations but I would say the most memorable moment was during our trip to Laoag. It was the time where all of the candidates bonded, shared their life experiences about their family , and we also got the chance to know each other on a personal level. My closest friends are Carlo Pasion, Raven Lansangan, Iione Perez, Jay Hipolito and Van Ramos. (Author’s Note: Carlo became Mister Ocean Philippines,  Raven was crowned as Mister International Philippines, Iion was crowned as Mister Universe Tourism Philippines, Jay became 2nd Runner Up while Van entered the Top 15, talk about this barkada becoming the “winning” barkada at the end of the competition.)
PH: What was the first thing that came to your mind when you knew that among the 6 Kings, you would be the first one to compete?
YC: I was really worried because I have to squeeze the time that I have to prepare for the international pageant and I know I have a lot of things to improve physically but at the same time I am very happy because this will be my first time in Poland and of course I am representing our country ” Philippines.”. I can’t wait.
PH: What are your preparations that you can share to your fans/my blog’s readers for Mister Supranational?
YC: When I came back in Hawaii, my typical day is to work at daytime and go to the gym at night time to achieve a more defined body. I have a mentor who does training for my walk. We do it twice a week. I’ve been educating myself about Poland and Slovak republic since it will be held there. I am also learning some basic Polish words and Latin since I also want to communicate with candidates or people who can only speak Latin. Although, in general, most can understand basic English.I’ve also prepared my wardrobe and how my look should be on a daily basis and most importantly on the final night. Personality development is also in my training as having a winning mindset is important for me to sustain being focused and optimistic throughout the competition in Mister Supranational.
PH: Lastly, any message for your fans and supporters who has supported you from Misters of Filipinas and now that you are on your road to Mister Supranational 2017?
From the bottom of my heart , I sincerely thank all my supporters who has been there from Day 1. They are my treasure in this competition. Words are not enough to thank all of them. I will not promise anything except that I will definitely do my best to win. Please continue to pray for our success in the pageant and that hopefully I will be the first Asian to win Mister Supranational.
Maraming salamat. Daghang salamat sa tanan. I really miss all of my supporters especially their words of wisdom that keeps me going in this journey. Let’s spread positive vibes.

While he would not be having his pageant until mid-2018, the reigning Man of the World Philippines keeps himself busy with various opportunities that went his way nowadays. So definitely, BUSY King Indeed is the term for CLINT.
