PEPPS presents the first Philippine Pageant Ball


Held last May 13, 2017 at the One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City was a night of glitz and glamour as Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation presents the first Philippine Pageant Ball.

“This is one night where we can forget pageant rivalries – not that there’s any – and just unite under one banner – Team Philippines” mentions PEPPS President Carlo Morris Galang.

“It is one of our dreams to see different pageant luminaries assembled in one event”. Galang further added.

Members of the Press and Guests were treated to sights of kings and queens who strut themselves in the red carpet for the event. Notable guests were the kings from Misters of Filipinas, newly-crowned Mister Gay World John Raspado, Mister International 2014 Neil Perez, Mister World Philippines 2014 John Spainhour, Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong, the 2016 Miss Philippines Earth queens and various foreign beauty queens and kings coming across the globe, like Man of the World Egypt 2016 who met his Philippine counterpart, Man of the World Philippines Chriz Dulagan.

The highlight of the night was awarding of the Pageant Icons which aims to recognize the contributions of various individuals to Philippine Pageantry. The Philippine Pageant Ball organizers and select various pageant analysts narrowed down their choices to the following individuals:

  • BPCI’s Madam Stella Marquez Araneta
  • Miss Philippines Earth (Carousel Productions) Founder Lorraine Schuck
  • Megastar Productions Ovette Ricalde
  • PEPPS President Carlo Morris Galang
  • Mister Gay World National Director Wilbert Tolentino who came to the event with the newly crowned Mister Gay World John Raspado
  • Fashion Designer Renee Salud
  • Missosology Founder Pawee Ventura

Special Citations were given to the following individuals

  • Edwin Uy – for fashion design
  • Rodin Gilbert “Rodgil” Flores
  • Jonas Antonio Gaffud
  • John Dela Vega
  • Tony Paat

Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong and Mister Gay World 2017 John Raspado were awarded as the Philippine Pageant Ball King and Queen of the Night respectively. Raffle and sumptuous food and entertainment from the likes of the boyband Freshmen , international Jazz Singer Jojo Van Oeveren and other entertainers were highlights of the event.

Congratulations to PEPPS for mounting the first ever Philippine Pageant Ball.
