Over the weekend, Cory Quirino of CQ Global Quest announced that she would be relinquishing her franchise of Mr and Miss World Philippines. Pageant fans were left in awe on who would be continuing the Miss World franchise here in the Philippines.
The same day, there was an answer, Arnold Vegafria of the ALV Talent Circuit who also manages the career of Miss World 2013 Megan Young is the new National Director of Mr and Miss World Philippines.
In his instagram post and we quote:
“I am very happy to have been awarded the exclusive license for the MISS WORLD AND MR. WORLD PAGEANTS IN THE PHILIPPINES. Thank you Julia Morley and Steve Douglas for your trust and confidence! With your support and guidance, I can assure you that we will continue to live up to the prestige and honor that Miss World Organization deserves- not just in the Philippines but across the world. We will forward to discovering and mentoring a new breed of filipina beauties who, just like Miss World 2013 Megan Young, will perpetuate the noble legacy of Miss World Organization’s guiding principle ; “Beauty With A Purpose. ”
Wishing Sir Arnold and his team the best as they mount the Miss World Philippines 2017. This year’s bet, Catriona Gray came in at Top 5 in the recent edition won by Stephanie Del Valle.
