Still on a high from the victory of Man of the Year 2016 Karan Singhdole and the successful staging of Misters of Filipinas 2016 last September 18, Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation had its double sendoff for two PEPPS Kings who is set to compete internationally.
The send-off, held at B-Low of the New World Hotel in Makati gathered members of the organization, press and friends who had given their messages of support and goodluck to Manhunt International Philippines 2015-16 Don Mcgyver Cochico and Mister Asian Philippines 2016 Vincent Issen Christopher Jarina.
COCHICO for BACK to BACK in MANHUNT INTERNATIONAL
Police Officer Don Cochico, who was named as Manhunt International Philippines 2015 late 2015, had his sendoff to Manhunt International 2016 with its World Finals would be held on October 29 in Shenzhen, China.
In his share of the limelight last Tuesday, he mentioned how much he has prepared from the competition including watching videos of the previous Manhunt finals.
Don would be competing at the return of Manhunt International after its 4 year hiatus with its reigning winner, June Macasaet of the Philippines crowning his successor at the end of the event. June won the crown in 2012.
Don’s formal wear would be from the renowned designer Francis Libiran while his national costume was made by Edwin Uy. Sir Edwin during the send-off described Don’s National Costume as The Sarimanok King of Maranao inspired from the Maranao tribe using patterns and colors from Maranao architecture and the Sarimanok which is the legendary bird of Maranao.
VINCENT JARINA: FIRST 2016 KING TO COMPETE
Also celebrated in the send-off party was Misters of Filipinas Asian Vincent Issen Christopher Jarina who would be the country’s representative to the first Mister Asian pageant to be held on the week of November 14-20 in Manado, Indonesia. He would be the first among the six titleholders who were crowned in the national pageant last September 18.
Vincent, though a neophyte in pageantry has not considered it as a disadvantage since he had the time to prepare for the pageant. Along with Don, he had his fittings done with Francis Libiran for his formal wear for the Mister Asian competition.
Vincent also notes that there are at least 10 delegates who had already confirmed for the contest, with a couple of more on the process. Mister Asian is considered to be the search for Asia’s Most Charismatic Man and would have various competitions over that week before the finals which will be held on November 19.
On hand for this send-off party was the members of PEPPS, lead by its President Carlo Morris Galang, the Misters of Filipinas 2016 winners and Mister International 2014 Neil Perez.
Best of luck to Don and Vincent to your respective competitions!
